CompositIon
To be eligible for composition lessons, students either must be currently studying an instrument, or have studied an instrument and be able to play at an intermediate level.
Students will study the craft of composition, develop their toolbox of compositional techniques, and expand their musical thinking.
Composers will have the opportunity for their compositions to be read and recorded by professional musicians once each semester. Depending on student instrumentation selections, additional performer fees may apply to the composition reading session.
